How Do I Reserve A Bike
Booking & Reservations
How do I reserve a bike?
Booking is easy! Simply text us at (213) 788-4025 with your preferred dates, delivery location, and bike type. We’ll confirm availability and set up your rental within minutes. You can also book through our website’s reservation form. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance, especially during weekends and summer months.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 24-48 hours in advance to guarantee your preferred bike and delivery time. Same-day bookings are sometimes possible depending on availability—just text us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
Can I modify or extend my rental?
Absolutely! Just text us to extend your rental. We’ll check availability and adjust your booking. Extensions are subject to availability and will be prorated based on your rental tier. Let us know as soon as possible so we can hold your bike.
Delivery & Pickup
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout the South Bay within a 25-minute radius of El Segundo. This includes Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, and surrounding areas. We deliver directly to hotels, vacation rentals, homes, and offices—wherever is most convenient for you.
Is delivery really free?
Yes! Free delivery and pickup is included with every rental within our service area. We bring the bike to you and pick it up when you’re done—no need to coordinate transportation or find a rental shop. It’s all part of our commitment to making your biking experience effortless.
What if I’m staying at a hotel?
We specialize in hotel deliveries! We’ll coordinate with you to deliver your bike directly to your hotel. Just let us know your hotel name and check-in time, and we’ll arrange a convenient delivery window. Many hotels in the area are familiar with our service.
How does pickup work at the end of my rental?
When your rental period ends, just text us and we’ll arrange a pickup time that works for you. Leave the bike in a secure location (hotel lobby, your rental property, etc.) and we’ll take care of the rest. If you need to leave the bike somewhere specific, let us know and we’ll accommodate.
Bikes & Equipment
What types of bikes do you offer?
We offer a range of quality bikes to suit different riding styles: Standard Bikes (classic cruisers and mountain bikes perfect for casual beach path riding), Road Bikes (lightweight options like our Bianchi Sparta for longer rides), and E-Bikes (electric bikes including Super73 and RadRunner models for effortless cruising). All bikes are well-maintained and ready for the South Bay’s beautiful coastal paths.
What’s included with my rental?
Every rental includes the bike, a helmet, a lock, and basic safety instructions. We’ll also provide local route recommendations and tips for the best spots along The Strand and beyond. E-bike rentals come with a fully charged battery and charger for multi-day rentals.
Are helmets required?
Helmets are included with every rental and we strongly recommend wearing them. In California, helmets are required by law for riders under 18. For adults, while not legally required, helmets significantly reduce injury risk and we encourage all riders to wear them.
Do you have bikes for kids?
Please contact us about specific sizing needs. We can accommodate various rider heights and may have options for younger riders depending on availability. Let us know the ages and heights of riders when booking so we can match you with appropriate bikes.
Pricing & Payment
What are your rental rates?
We offer flexible rental periods to fit your schedule: Half-Day (up to 4 hours), Full-Day (up to 8 hours), and Multi-Day (2-5 days with discounted daily rates). Rates vary by bike type. Contact us for current pricing—we’re happy to provide a quote for your specific needs. E-bikes are priced higher than standard bikes.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Payment is collected at the time of delivery. A valid ID is required for all rentals.
Is there a security deposit?
We may place a temporary hold on your card as a security deposit, which is released when the bike is returned in good condition. The deposit amount varies by bike type. We’ll explain all terms clearly at delivery.
Policies
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand plans change! Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Weather-related cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis—we’ll always work with you to reschedule.
What happens if the bike is damaged or stolen?
You are responsible for the bike during your rental period. Minor wear is expected, but significant damage or theft will result in charges. We recommend always using the provided lock and keeping the bike in secure locations. Report any issues immediately so we can help.
What if I have a mechanical issue during my rental?
Contact us immediately! If you experience a flat tire, mechanical problem, or any issue that’s not your fault, we’ll arrange a replacement bike or repair as quickly as possible. We’re local and can usually get to you fast.
Riding the South Bay
Where are the best places to ride?
The South Bay has incredible biking! Our favorites: The Strand (the famous 22-mile Marvin Braude Bike Trail runs from Pacific Palisades to Torrance with stunning ocean views the entire way), Manhattan Beach Pier (ride to the iconic pier and grab a bite downtown), Hermosa Beach (vibrant pier plaza with restaurants and beach vibes), Marina del Rey (scenic harbor paths perfect for a relaxed ride), and Venice Beach (people-watching and boardwalk energy). We’ll give you a route map and personal recommendations at delivery!
Are the bike paths beginner-friendly?
Yes! The Strand and most South Bay bike paths are flat, paved, and perfect for riders of all skill levels. The paths are separated from vehicle traffic in most areas. Weekend mornings tend to be less crowded than afternoons.
What should I bring for my ride?
We recommend: sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottle, comfortable clothes, and your phone for photos. The coastal breeze can be cool even on warm days, so a light layer is smart. Don’t forget your camera—you’ll want to capture those sunset views!
